Equinix released its third-quarter results on October 28. Annualized gross bookings reached $533 million; management described pricing on new deals as 12% above the prior year. Full-year revenue guidance was $10.325 billion to $10.365 billion.
Management’s under-2% share of monthly recurring revenue referred specifically to the neocloud cohort, not all AI or cloud demand. Stabilized-asset utilization was 83%, compared with approximately 78% overall.
Management said more than 20% of fourth-quarter capacity was pre-sold, while approximately 15% of 2027 retail capacity was committed. Those forward commitments are not completed deliveries.
Our read: These disclosures describe one operator’s customer mix and capacity commitments. They do not establish the credit quality of every AI tenant or a market-wide data-center borrowing rate. The original results predate this November 1 research batch.
Key Takeaways
- Distinguish stabilized from overall utilization, and the neocloud customer cohort from broader AI/cloud demand. Presales are commitments, not delivered capacity.
